Toronto police have issued a public safety alert after a small quantity of tainted dog treats were found this weekend at an Etobicoke off-leash dog park.
Nine bone-shaped, multi-coloured dog biscuits smelling of gasoline were found Saturday near the south entrance of Marie Curtis Park at 2 Forty Second St. The treats could be harmful or fatal if ingested, police say.
Police say no animals ingested the treats.
