Woman’s driver’s licence suspended, car seized after Hamilton crash

A 46-year-old Hamilton woman has been charged after a two-car crash on Thursday afternoon.

It happened around 4:30 p.m. on Highway 6 at Parkside Drive.

The OPP arrived in the area to find two damaged cars, though no one was hurt.

They arrested one of the drivers and took her to the OPP’s Burlington detachment, where she was charged.

Carey-Anne Morrison is accused of impaired driving, driving with a blood-alcohol level higher than 80 milligrams and failing to comply with an undertaking.

Police also automatically suspended her driver’s licence for 90 days and impounded her car for seven days.

She was released and is due to appear in a Hamilton court on Sept. 26.
