Driver crashes into pole, flees as police arrive

Police are looking for a driver who fled after crashing into a pole in Etobicoke.
Officers said as they arrived at Kipling and Horner avenues around 1 a.m. Saturday, they saw the man jump back into his Jaguar and speed off.
He ditched his car at an auto shop at Horner and Thirtieth Street and ran away.
Police brought in the canine unit to help search for the man, who is still at large.
They said his car’s airbag deployed and have asked local hospitals to watch for a man with facial injuries.
