Police looking for 2nd driver in deadly Mississauga crash

Police in Mississauga are looking for the driver of a car they say left the scene of a collision that claimed the life of a 29-year-old man on Saturday.

Mohammad Nazim Haniff was pronounced dead at the scene following the crash at Meyerside Drive and Kestrel Road, in the Courtneypark Drive East and Tomken Road area around 7 p.m.

The impact of the crash caused the vehicle to break into several pieces.

Police say a witness told them that there was a second vehicle involved in the crash. That vehicle is described as a Toyota Camry, possibly brown in colour.

The second vehicle accelerated away from the scene, and reportedly made no attempt to help the victim.

Police say they are looking for a man with a white complexion, large round face, black hair and is approximately 30 to 35 years-old.

Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to contact investigators at 905-453-2121, ext. 3710.
