Fatal crash closes westbound lanes of Highway 401 near Belleville

The westbound lanes of a stretch of Highway 401 east of Belleville have been closed after a fatal crash.
Provincial police say two vehicles and a tractor-trailer collided around 3:40 p.m. Tuesday. near the community of Shannonville.
They say one person died in the crash.
The westbound lanes between Marysville Road in Marysville and Highway 37 in Belleville have been shut.
Police are advising motorists to use detours.
The same stretch of highway was closed overnight due to damage from a weekend crash also involving a tractor-trailer.
One of the westbound lanes was only reopened this afternoon, shortly before the latest crash.
