A male motorcyclist has died following a crash with an SUV on Highway 400 in Barrie.

The crash occurred at around 4:30 p.m. on Friday and the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. A female passenger on the same motorcycle suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Ontario provincial police told 680News the crash involved three vehicles including a motorcycle.

All northbound lanes and one southbound lane of Hwy. 400 were closed at Dunlop Street due to the collision investigation, but reopened just before 8 p.m.
