TORONTO – Some of the most active companies traded Tuesday on the Toronto Stock Exchange and the TSX Venture Exchange:

Toronto Stock Exchange (15,315.13, up 65.14 points):

DHX Media Ltd. (TSX:DHX). Entertainment. Up seven cents, or 0.98 per cent, to $7.20 on 7.4 million shares.

B2Gold Corp. (TSX:BTO). Miner. Down five cents, or 1.72 per cent, to $2.86 on 7 million shares.

Bombardier Inc. (TSX:BBD.B). Plane and train builder. Down two cents, or 0.53 per cent, to $3.76 on 5.7 million shares.

Mercator Minerals Ltd. (TSX:ML). Miner. Down 0.5 cents, or 11.11 per cent, to four cents on 4.7 million shares.

Romarco Minerals Inc. (TSX:R). Miner. Unchanged at 90 cents on 4.2 million shares.

HudBay Minerals Inc. (TSX:HBM). Miner. Up 30 cents, or 2.75 per cent, to $11.21 on 3.2 million shares.

Toronto Venture Exchange (1,010.88, up 4.40 points):

Pine Cliff Energy Ltd. (TSX:PNE). Oil and gas. Up eight cents, or 4.71 per cent, to $1.78 on 9.6 million shares.

Mena Hydrocarbons Inc. (TSXV:MNH). Oil and gas. Down 0.5 cents, or 20 per cent, to two cents on 3.7 million shares.

Companies reporting major news:

PrairieSky Royalty Ltd. (TSX:PSK). Oil and gas. Up $1.86, or 4.87 per cent, to $40.04 on 265,086 shares. On Monday afternoon, PrairieSky posted its financial results for the period between its May 27 start up and June 30. During that period, it posted net earnings of $23.9 million, or 18 cents per share on an adjusted basis, and revenues of $37.2 million.

Rogers Communications Inc. (TSX:RCI.B). Communication services. Up 28 cents, or 0.67 per cent, to $42.14 on 974,310 shares. Analysts lauded moves by new CEO Guy Laurence to shake up the stagnant company as Rogers confirmed that it has eliminated “several hundred middle management positions” as part of its corporate revitalization plan.
