1 man killed in Oshawa car accident

A 53-year-old Kirkland Lake man has died after he lost control of his car while trying to pass another vehicle in Oshawa Sunday night.
Police were called to Simcoe Street North near Conlin Road around 8:40 p.m.
The victim was attempting to pass another car when his tires went onto the shoulder causing him to lose control. The car then rolled several times, Durham police said.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say speed was a factor in the crash.
