Suspect at large after 2 more break-ins in Etobicoke

Toronto police are looking for an intruder who broke into two homes in south Etobicoke early Saturday morning.

Around 3:30 a.m., police responded to the area of Lake Shore Boulevard West and Brown’s Line, calling in the emergency task force, canine and air units for help.

“Officers commenced an intense manhunt over the next few hour where our police dog services were used and a variety of our resources,” Const. David Hopkinson told 680News.

“Unfortunately (the suspect) made good his escape.”

Police said the break-ins happened on Gort and Enfield avenues.

No property was taken and no one was hurt.

They couldn’t confirm if the incidents were connected to a string of break-ins in the area over the past two years.
