Peel police are probing two separate stabbings in Mississauga.

The first happened around 9:40 p.m. Friday near Hurontario Street and The Queensway.

A 19-year-old man was taken to hospital and is in serious, but stable, condition.

Police arrested two 17-year-old boys in the area.

One teen, from Mississauga, is charged with robbery and aggravated assault charges and theft under $5,000.

The second teen, of no fixed address, is facing those same charges plus three counts of failure to comply with probation and possession of a controlled substance.

The second stabbing happened around midnight during a fight between two groups in Jack Darling Memorial Park, at Lakeshore and Lorne Park roads.

An 18-year-old Mississauga man was stabbed more than once and taken to hospital. He is expected to survive.

Five or six suspects are at large in that case, all South Asian males.
