A man has died after a double shooting in downtown Toronto early Sunday morning.
It happened on George Street, near Dundas and Jarvis, around 2 a.m.
Toronto EMS said one of the victims was shot in the stomach and was taken to St. Michael’s Hospital with life-threatening injuries. Later in the day, police confirmed that 36-year-old Rala Federick, of Toronto, had died from his injuries.
The other man, a 37-year-old, was shot in the wrist and will recover.
Police describe the suspect as black with a light complexion, 20-to-30-years-old, five-foot-10, with a heavy build.
