A three-alarm fire burned through the roof of a commercial building in Etobicoke.
The fire broke out at Avida, a digital signage company, located at 72 Six Point Rd., near Islington Avenue, at around 4:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
A caller to 680News, who lives in a nearby apartment, said the smoke was so thick in that area that they thought their own building was on fire.
The building was empty when the fire started.
Toronto EMS said no one was injured.
Fire crews are working to extinguish the remaining hot spots.
