Quebec soldier dies after being struck by alleged terror suspect
Patrice Vincent, one of two Quebec soldiers who were deliberately hit by a car in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, died Tuesday morning. The driver, who authorities described as a radicalized young man, was shot and killed by police after a chase.

Transportation Minister Steven Del Duca said the Ontario government will re-introduce legislation aimed at cracking down on distracted driving. If the bill passes, a person caught using a phone while driving will face a fine in the range of $300 to $1,000 and three demerit points.
