Two men were airlifted to a Toronto trauma centre after a serious rollover in Muskoka, ORNGE officials confirm to CityNews.

The collision happened around 3 a.m. Sunday on Highway 11 near Highway 118 in the Bracebridge area.

OPP says one of the men suffered life-threatening injuries. The other man’s injuries are considered to be serious.

Both victims are believed to be in their 20s.

Police say an on-duty officer just happened upon the crash as he was exiting the highway.

“There’s no doubt in my mind that if this collision had gone unseen for a period of time, we could be dealing with a much more serious set of circumstances right now,” OPP Sgt. Peter Leon told 680News.

Leon said it is not clear how long the car was there before it was found by the officer.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
