Toronto police say three Montreal men are facing a total of 122 charges as part of a fraud investigation. Police said the men had been travelling to Toronto since last year and picking pockets in downtown bars and restaurants. They also reportedly broke into a hotel room and stole wallets, money and IDs. It’s alleged they then used the victims’ IDs to change the PINs on the stolen credit cards and bought high-end clothes and other goods in Toronto. Video: Mobile pay parking now available in Toronto
The Green P app is now allowing mobile payments for parking in the city. Toronto Parking Authority Chair Michael Tziretas, Mayor John Tory and Lorne Persiko, President, Toronto Parking Authority spoke at Thursday’s announcement.
