Evenflo recalling child car seats & booster seats

Evenflo is voluntarily recalling some of its convertible car seats and harnessed booster seats due to an issue with the harness crotch buckle.

The company says the buckles may become resistant to unlatching over time due to exposure to food and drinks, and it may make it difficult to remove children from the seat.

Evenflo will be providing a new free buckle to affected customers.

No injuries have been reported.

The Canadian recall involves seats that were built between 2011 and 2014. Some Momentum, Chase, Maestro, Symphony,  SureRide, SecureKid, Snugli All-in-One and Snugli Booster models are affected.
