Below is a list of road and TTC closures in Toronto due to construction and events (April 12-13):

Road closures

Toronto Yonge Street 10K

The annual Toronto Yonge Street 10K Run will be held on Sunday, April 13.

The run starts on Yonge Street at 7 a.m. and will travel along the following route:

  • South on Yonge St.
  • West on Richmond St.
  • South on Peter St. and Blue Jays Way
  • West on Front St.
  • South on Bathurst St.
  • West on Fort York Blvd., where it finishes

Road closure at the finish line from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.:

  • Fort York Blvd., from Bathurst St. to Lake Shore Blvd.

Road closures along the race route at 8:30 a.m.:

  • Yonge St., from Roselawn Ave. to King St.
  • Richmond St., from Yonge St. to Peter St.
  • Peter St. and Blue Jays Way, from Richmond St. to Front St.
  • Front St., from Blue Jays Way to Bathurst St.
  • Bathurst St., from King St. to Lake Shore Blvd.
  • Fort York Blvd., from Bathurst St. to Lake Shore Blvd.
  • Bathurst St., from King St. to Lake Shore Blvd.
  • Fort York Blvd., from Bathurst St. to Lake Shore Blvd.
  • Fleet St., from Strachan Ave. to Fort York Blvd.

The Yonge 97 and 320 buses will be on diversion.

Transit closures

Late subway start on Saturday

Subway service will start at noon on Saturday, April 12, on the Yonge-University-Spadina line between Bloor and Eglinton stations due to emergency repairs on the track bed, switches and signals at Davisville station.

Thirty-five shuttle buses will be running between Eglinton and Bloor stations.

GO Transit reduced service

From 7 p.m. on Friday, April 11, to 7 a.m. on Monday, April 14, GO train service will be reduced from every 30 minutes to every 60 minutes, between Oshawa and Whitby stations on the Lakeshore East line.

Shuttle buses will run between the two stations to supplement train service.

GO is installing temporary tracks to allow trains to pass through the area while a new underpass is built to replace the street level crossing at the South Blair Street in Whitby.
