Flaherty’s legacy lives on in Whitby’s accessible sports centre

Former Finance Minister Jim Flaherty was a passionate advocate for accessibility issues and helped bring the Abilities Centre to the Durham region he represented at the provincial and federal level. His brother-in-law Leo Plue is the centre’s executive director. He shared some of his memories of Flaherty with our Cynthia Mulligan.
