London and Milton cheer hometown Olympians Moir, Virtue and Gerrits

Canada collected another medal on Day 10 of the Sochi Games, as ice dancers Scott Moir and Tessa Virtue skated to silver. CityNews joined friends and family of the London, Ont.-area natives to cheer on the pair as they set a world record, only to see it beat minutes later by the U.S. pair Meryl Davis and Charlie White who went on to win the gold.
In Milton, friends and family of aerial skier Travis Gerrits cheered him on to seventh place.
In other Sochi action, the women’s hockey team won their semi-final game against Switzerland 3-1. They will play rivals U.S. for their fourth consecutive gold medal on Thursday.
