Census objector found guilty of violating Statistics Act

Janet Churnin, 79, was found guilty of violating the Statistics Act for her refusal to fill out the mandatory census. She spoke to the media after a judge handed her a conditional discharge. She will have no permanent criminal record after she completes her sentence of 50 hours of community service within a year.
