Janet Churnin, 79, was found guilty of violating the Statistics Act for her refusal to fill out the mandatory census. She spoke to the media after a judge handed her a conditional discharge. She will have no permanent criminal record after she completes her sentence of 50 hours of community service within a year.
Accused sexual predator nabbed after dozens of Etobicoke break-ins
Anieph Burton, 32, faces more than 90 charges related to dozens of break-ins in south Etobicoke, including 11 counts of sex assault and three charges of choking. His wife Jehanneiry Beaton also faces break-and-enter charges.
