Man critically injured in east-end stabbing

A man is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after a stabbing in Toronto’s east end.
Police were called to an apartment building at 500 Dawes Rd., near St. Clair Avenue and Victoria Park, just before midnight Monday.
Officers found the victim on the fifth floor with a stab wound to the chest. His identity is not yet known, but he’s believed to be in his 40s.
Police arrested a 39 year-old man, who is now facing weapons-related charges.
