Kimmel thanks Ford after latest video

Late-night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel took to Twitter to thank Mayor Rob Ford after a profanity laced video was posted on YouTube on Tuesday.

The video shows Ford slurring and swearing in Jamaican patois at a steakhouse called Steak Queen in Etobicoke on Monday.

Shortly after the video came to light Ford admitted that the video was of him and that he had been drinking that evening.

Kimmel, who has mocked Ford repeatedly on his late-night talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live since the crack cocaine scandal broke last spring, tweeted “thank you @TOMayorFord for getting back to basics.”

Ford’s antics have also provided comedy fodder for David Letterman, Jay Leno, Seth Meyers, Conan O’Brien, Jimmy Fallon, Stephen Colbert and Jon Stewart.
