A year after the murder of a Toronto couple in their Florida home, police have tentatively scheduled a news conference for Wednesday morning to release new information in the case.

The bodies of David Pichosky, 71, and Rochelle Wise, 66, were found in their Hallandale Beach home by a neighbour.  Police say they died of asphyxiation.

The couple were prominent members of Toronto’s Jewish community.

Two months after the couple was murdered, the community’s police chief said there were at least two people involved in their deaths.

The conference is scheduled to at 10 a.m. but police say it is dependant upon on the arrival of family members who may be delayed because of the weather related issues at Pearson Airport.
