Police investigating suspicious death of toddler at TCH building

Police are investigating the suspicious death of a two-year-old girl at a Toronto Community Housing building on Friday.
Paramedics tell CityNews they were called to 200 Wellesley St. E. around 9 a.m. by a 17-year-old girl who was caring for the toddler.
The child was not breathing when paramedics arrived. A cause of death hasn’t been determined.
A neighbour said she had met the child and that she was well looked after.
A forensics team was on the scene. And the homicide unit, which investigates deaths involving children under the age of five, was notified.
No arrest have been made, and an autopsy was scheduled for Sunday.
