Toronto police are once again asking for the public’s help in locating a 30-year-old woman and her baby daughter who’ve been missing since Tuesday.

Christina Lynn Potter and her five-week-old baby were last seen at 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday in the area of Eglinton Avenue East and Markham Road in Scarborough.

Const. Wendy Drummond told reporters Friday that the main concern is for the missing child.

“We are asking for Christina to contact us. She is, in fact, reported missing as well, but the concern is for the safety of the child,” said Drummond.

Police are asking “anybody that knows [Christina], potentially works with her, perhaps even lives in a building and has seen Christina or a child … to contact police.”

Police do not know the baby’s name and no sightings of the child have been reported.

The mother is described as white, five-foot-six, with a heavy build, shoulder-length blonde hair, blue eyes and possibly wearing an eyebrow ring. She is also known as Christina Lynn Nunez Guzman.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police at (416) 808-4300 or Crime Stoppers at (416) 222-TIPS (8477).
