WestJet wants to fly out of Billy Bishop: Bloomberg

WestJet’s CEO says the company wants to operate Boeing 737 Max aircrafts from Bill Bishop airport if it can get takeoff and landing slots, according to a report from Bloomberg.
Currently only Porter and Air Canada operate out of the downtown airport.
Earlier this month, city council deferred its decision on whether to allow the Island Airport expansion.A decision from council is expected next year.
