Friends identify man killed in balcony accident as Hugo Chan

A 25-year-old man is dead after falling from the balcony of a frat house early Saturday.
Toronto police confirmed the victim was a Ryerson student and an active member of the Beta Theta Pi fraternity.
Friends on social media have identified the man as Hugo Chan.
The incident occurred overnight at the Beta Theta Pi fraternity house on Lowther Avenue, in the Bloor Street West and Spadina Avenue area.
A detective on the case said no foul play is suspected and it has been deemed a death by misadventure.
