Man, 78, charged after Mississauga boy struck and killed on Nov. 20

Peel police have laid three charges in connection with a fatal collision that claimed the life of a four-year-old boy in Mississauga.
Alvito Abreu, 78, has been charged with careless driving, making an improper turn and failing to yield.
He is scheduled to appear at a Brampton court on Jan. 30, 2014.
Millhad Shir Ahmad was walking to Artesian Drive Public School shortly after 8 a.m. on Nov. 20 when he was struck by a car at Artesian and Southhampton drives, in the area of Winston Churchill Boulevard and Highway 403.
Ahmad was airlifted to the Hospital for Sick Children, where he was later died.
