Man struck by taxi on University; injuries not life-threatening

A man in his 30s suffered head and facial injuries after being struck by a taxi in downtown Toronto early Wednesday morning.
The collision occurred on University Avenue at Adelaide Street West just before 2 a.m.
Police told 680News they believe the pedestrian was drinking before the crash.
Police told CityNews the man was not crossing at a crosswalk.
His injuries are not considered to be life-threatening.
No charges are expected at this time, police said.
