Peel police are looking for witnesses after a 19-year-old died in a crash in Brampton on Friday.

The teen, who was from North York, was driving a Honda Civic south on Airport Road around 9:15 p.m., when he lost control near Queen Street East.

His car split in half when it hit a utility pole. He died at the scene.

Peel police are investigating and would like to speak with anyone who might have seen what happened before the crash.
