Christmas concert: Get in the festive mood with the boys of St. Michael’s Choir School who will be singing carols at their annual Christmas concert at Massey Hall. 178 Victoria St. Saturday, 7:30 p.m. Sunday, 3:30 p.m. $20-40.

Pet Pics with Santa: Even your furry friends can get a session with the big man himself at Toronto Humane Society’s annual Pet Pics with Santa & Christmas Bazaar & Bake Sale.  All proceeds go to the animals at the shelter. 11 River St. Saturday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

Kensington Krawl: Sample the unique flavours of Kensington Market, which includes tastings from the local cheese market, delicatessen, spice shop and more. Plus you’ll get a history lesson about the market going back to the early 1900s when Jewish immigrants first settled in the neighbourhood. Near Bellevue Square Park. Saturday, 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. $50.

Kids in the Hall: The boys are back on stage for the first time in five years for their new show Rusty and Ready at the Toronto Comedy Sketch Festival. Isabel Bader Theatre. 93 Charles St. W. Friday, 8 p.m. and Saturday, 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. $39.

Allan Gardens flower show: The Christmas Flower Show is the highlight of the year at the Allan Gardens Conservatory. Enjoy the garden-filled greenhouse filled with thousands of flowering plants, including 30 varieties of poinsettia, by candlelight this weekend. Allan Gardens Conservatory. Until Jan. 12, 2014. 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Free.
