Toronto Sun releases free Rob Ford afternoon newspaper

TORONTO- The Toronto Sun has released a special edition Thursday afternoon newspaper in light of the newest details in the Rob Ford saga.

The paper is free of charge and is being handed out at downtown subway stations.

The Sun’s comment editor, Adrienne Batra, said the newest details in the Ford investigation are something everyone should know about.

“This is a pretty significant story that is unfolding in the city of Toronto and in Canada..Arguably one of the biggest political stories,” said Batra. “We thought it was very important to get out to the streets and inform the readers of what exactly is going on,” she said.

The Toronto Sun has promised a more detailed account of the Mayor Ford saga in its Friday morning edition.
