TORONTO – An afternoon at a Bloor Street West nail salon is not solely a day of pampering for one Toronto police officer.
Staff Sgt. Chris Boddy got his nails done for a good cause on Wednesday.
The pink “ManiCURE” is to support the Canadian Cancer Society as a part of its ManiCURES fundraising program during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Boddy has exceeded his fundraising goal of $500 and will get a pink manicure at The Ten Spot — one of several salons participating in the initiative.
