TORONTO- Mayor Rob Ford and Councillor Doug Ford are defending their weekly radio show after Scarborough Councillor Paul Ainslie filed a complaint with the CRTC asking for it be pulled off the air.
Ainsle, a former Ford supporter, said the show is being used to “damage and attack the integrity of others without inpunity”.
The Ford brothers said their show is on-air to “inform the people.”
A rift was created by Mayor Ford and Coun. Ainslie after a vote on plans for a subway extension in Scarborough.
After Ford made robo-calls to inform Ainslie’s constituents about his subway vote, the Councillor accused him of being “a bully and a liar.”
