A day after two would-be thieves drove a truck into the Sporting Life store at Sherway Gardens, police are looking into two more “smash and grab” robberies that happened on Wednesday morning.
Peel police said someone drove a vehicle into a motorcycle apparel store, Rider’s Choice, on Dixie at the Queensway on Wednesday just before 2 a.m.
Then about an hour later, someone smashed the front windows of the Prada store on Bloor Street near Avenue Road.
Merchandise was taken in both cases.
The suspect vehicle in the Mississauga incident is believed to be a damaged truck, minivan or suv.
The Toronto police are looking for two suspects in a white BMW in the Yorkville incident.
There is no word if the incidents are related.
