TORONTO – Toronto police were called to a Scarborough school early Tuesday morning after a snake was found on a bench in the yard.
Police found a nearly metre-long boa constrictor at Port Royal Public School, near Midland and Steeles avenues, at around 12:30 a.m.
Officers placed the snake in a pillowcase.
The snake is now in the custody of Toronto Animal Services.
It’s not known who the snake belongs to, or how it got out.
