TORONTO – Toronto police Const. James Forcillo is facing a second-degree murder charge in the death of Sammy Yatim, 18, the province’s Special Investigations Unit said Monday.

Yatim was shot and killed on an empty streetcar on July 27 in an incident captured on surveillance and cellphone videos. He was armed with a knife.
