Whitby man, 22, charged with luring

A Whitby man has been charged with luring following a two-month undercover investigation by the Durham police Internet child exploitation unit.
Police said officers posed as a 14-year-old girl and arranged to meet the suspect in Oshawa, where he was arrested.
John Haylock Jr., 22, is charged with six counts of luring.
Investigators said they also seized eight computers and several storage devices from his home in Whitby.
Police said the accused has been contacting young females in Durham Region.
Investigators also allege he has several profiles on social media, under the screen names Jr Ryder, John Racer, and Jr Racer.
