The Cowsills, George M. Cohan among newest members of RI Music Hall of Fame

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Cowsills and the late George M. Cohan are among the new members of the Rhode Island Music Hall of Fame.

The hall inducted its second class of honorees on Sunday. Other inductees included Steve Smith & The Nakeds, Paul Geremia, Eddie Zack & The Hayloft Jamboree, Bobby Hackett, Jimmie Crane, Bill Flanagan and Sissieretta Jones.

The Hall of Fame was formed in 2011 to celebrate and honour Rhode Island musicians, educators and others in the industry who have made significant contributions to the local and national music scene.

The first class of inductees included John Cafferty & the Beaver Brown Band and Roomful of Blues.
