Mississauga stabbing victim heads to Toronto before being picked up by EMS

TORONTO, Ont. – A man who was stabbed in Mississauga early Saturday morning managed to find his way to his sister’s house in Toronto before going to the hospital.

Paramedics then picked up the man at a highrise on Duncanwoods Drive, near Finch and Islington avenues, around 4 a.m. and took him to Sunnybrook hospital.

Officials say he had been stabbed more than one time in the Malton area, although police have not elaborated on the circumstances.

His condition is not known at this point and no suspects have been arrested.
