The federal Liberals are set to hold their final debate Saturday in Montreal, with Justin Trudeau firmly in the lead.
Liberal delegates will gather in Toronto on April 6 to cast their ballots for the new leader, who will be revealed to the public on April 14.
With Trudeau holding a significant lead, Saturday will be the last chance for candidates to convince their party faithful why he is not fit for the job.
In the meantime, it appears Trudeau has become a money magnet in his bid for the leadership.
Figures show the front-runner has raised $1.3 million since he entered the contest in October.
That is significantly more than any of the other candidates and triple what Tom Mulcair raised during his successful bid of NDP leadership last year.
Trudeau’s camp says the majority of donations were small and came from individual supporters.

Sorry Mr. Trudeau, the only great thing about your Dad was Paul Martin, and you don’t have him in your back pocket. The great thing about Mr. Martin, and I suppose to some degree your father, was the fact that we had a truly socially liberal government tempered by amazingly wonderful fiscal conservatism. Mr. Martin did not waste all our money.
I don’t trust you to manage the economy. I used to vote Liberal, now I vote conservative, though they have been shit at managing the economy too, no good choices now.
charismatic just like his father, but to bad Canadians have forgotten what an arrogant ass his father was. He is just like his father Besides being caught several times sneaking out of thye back of the Soviet embassy, then when he was asked about it , he refused to answer and instead gave the canadian people the finger. The having a no confidence vote over a gas tax proposed by the minority government which would have be legistated to have to go directly to the national debt. then after his father won, he implement the exact same gas tax, but it went to the general coffers instead. I remember his father and Justin is exactly the same. Tells you what you want to hear to make you feel good, then does what he wants, just like the rest of the Liberal party nowadays. l have watched Justin and when you really listen to him, he terrifies me. Dont vote for charisma, vote for the true message.
What is his platform, aside from dyed hair, arrogance and lack of experience?
No seriously, what really is his platform?
Wish you good luck
Canadians love Justin and believe in him he has a ton of fans and we want him to succeed as our next Prime Minister of Canada. Justin is the right man for the job and to lead Canada into a successful prosperous future.
