TORONTO, Ont. – Toronto police have arrested a man in connection with the sexual assault of a 17-year-old girl allegedly lured through Facebook.
Police said the accused contacted the teen on Facebook in late February, regarding a possible modeling opportunity, using the false surname “Cooper.”
The victim and the accused met at a residence in the Islington Avenue and Finch Avenue West area where the teen was allegedly sexually assaulted.
Police said they will not be releasing the name of the accused at this time.
They believe there may be more victims.
