TORONTO, Ont. – Police across the province are warning St. Patrick’s Day revellers to plan ahead and celebrate responsibly.
In order to enforce this warning, RIDE checks will be in operation all weekend throughout the province.
Police forces including the Toronto Police, Durham Police and OPP will be working together to make sure there is a strong police presence on the roads for the entire weekend.
This comes as police in London, Ontario, are ramping up their presence in order to prevent another riot like last years.
Police are also advising anyone hosting a party to make sure their guests do not drive away drunk.
