TORONTO, Ont. – MGM Resorts International is putting its proverbial chips on the table when it comes to the vote from city council on its proposed casino.

While the vote on whether to allow a casino to be built in Toronto won’t be held until May, MGM is holding a career information session at Exhibition Place Saturday.

The resort operator claims the casino resort it wants to build on the Exhibition Grounds will bring in 10,000 jobs to the city.

It says it’s hosting the career information session from 10 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday in order to highlight the potential job opportunities should their bid be voted on and selected.
