TORONTO, Ont. – Four people have been hurt, one critically, after they were hit by cars in separate incidents in Toronto over the weekend.
On Sunday, just after midnight, a man was walking near Finch Avenue West and Jane Street when he was hit by a car. He suffered two broken legs and is expected to recover.
About four hours later, a 24-year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries after he was hit by a Saturn while riding his bicycle on Bloor Street West, near Lansdowne Avenue.
Around the same time, a woman was hit by car at Queen Street and Spadina Avenue, but wasn’t seriously hurt.
And police are still investigating a hit-and-run near Bloor Street and Avenue Road, which happened on Saturday evening. A man was hit by a vehicle while cycling in the area and suffered a cut to the head.
Anyone who may have information on or witnessed any of these events is being asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
