A man has been arrested after barricading himself in a home in Iroquois, Ontario, Saturday afternoon.
A number of homes had to be evacuated in the small town, south of Ottawa, as OPP rerouted traffic and investigated the incident.
Residents were also told to stay clear of the area as police did not know the extent of the danger the man posed.
The emergency response unit and tactical response unit were both involved in the arrest of the man, who was taken into custody at 2 p.m.
Nobody was injured and the police investigation continues.
