A group of residents who were forced to leave their homes at a building on Yonge Street, north of Davenport Road, could be out another two-and-a-half months.
Nearly 100 people living in the downtown buildings at 914 and 920 Yonge Street had to leave their homes early in the morning hours of January 30.
This after a broken watermain sparked a fire in the basement of the building, with the water doing damage to the electrical equipment.
Initially the repairs were only expected to be a few days, however one resident told 680News she has been informed she may not be able to return home until May 27.
