MARKHAM, Ont. – York Regional Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with a bank robbery in Markham.
Police said a male suspect entered a bank, located at Bayview Avenue and Romfield Circuit, around 9:30 a.m. Thursday.
According to police, the suspect approached the teller and demanded cash.
The employee complied with the demand and the suspect fled on foot with a quantity of cash.
The victim was not injured.
The suspect is described as a brown male, between 20 and 24 years old, wearing a white winter jacket, blue jeans, a black toque and white rimmed sunglasses.
