TORONTO – Toronto police are looking for a hit-and-run driver after a woman was struck by an SUV in Scarborough on Monday night.
The incident happened at around 8:40 p.m. at the intersection of Eglinton and Midland avenues.
A 44-year-old woman crossing the street with her 11-year-old son was hit by the Lincoln SUV and pinned under the vehicle.
The SUV driver then abandoned their vehicle and fled the scene on foot.
The woman is in hospital with serious, but non life-threatening injuries.

So they have a non-stolen vehicle, and somebody saw the driver and him flee. Turn yourself in, they’re going to find you anyways. People at the scene have seen the driver’s face to place him behind the wheel at the time of the accident.
If you’re that stupid to not remain at the scene with all this around, you shouldn’t be driving.
